This is a newly launched site that is dedicated to providing engineers, designers and students alike with quick and easy solutions to flow measurement problems. These include (or will include...) Closed Pipe applications as well as Open Channel Flow Measurement - Flumes, Weirs, V Notches, Velocity area calculations and many more. The calculations are easy to use and laid out in a clear and straightforward manner. There is a choice of units so data input is quick and easy. The more complex calculations comply with ISO standards where applicable. Simpler calculations are intended for preliminary design purposes and are free of charge!! Initially we have limited the number of calculations available. These are all free and include calculations for velocity area, flumes, V notch weirs and the slope area method (Manning equation) |
